My favorite part of working at MeetGreen is seeing the passion our staff and clients have for being champions in sustainable events. Having a front-row seat to that every day is inspiring to watch. Take a look at the cool things our clients are doing.
Regional Events and Their Impacts

Long-distance travel is one of the largest sources of carbon emissions and comes with incredibly high costs. We are seeing some clients opt for smaller regional events. Not only is it saving them money, but they are also growing their networks in local communities. Piggybacking on more significant events already in action can promote dollar savings and meet people where they are already going. By regionalizing an event, you can substantially impact by lowering carbon footprints and reducing travel.
Reusable Service Ware and Waste Prevention

We are working with a large tech company using its:
- Buying power to make a change
- Maximizing the amount of reusable service ware used
- Saving in carbon and waste
This client has saved 12MT CO2e and 188 tons of waste and continues to build on that each year. They have increased the number of meals served on reusable service ware by 50% since 2022.
Supporting an Aspiring Photographer

A thoughtful client of MeetGreen made a generous donation in 2024 by helping a local youth. By donating a laptop to an aspiring photographer who wanted to use his lens to show the profound impact of environmental justice. While working with him to highlight his artistic skills at their event, someone noticed that he didn’t have a way to properly edit his photos or develop his portfolio for upcoming college applications. Their act of kindness opened new doors for him and showed that small gestures can have a significant impact and will allow him to take the steps toward building his dream career.
Leading to Greater Environmental Impact
These are just three of the many examples proving that you can plan an event while making small changes along the way, leading to greater environmental impact. Our clients are always doing cool things.
