CleanMed 2022
CleanMed recognizes that the single biggest contributor to an event’s carbon footprint is travel which accounts for more than 90% of the carbon emissions from an average event. By providing CleanMed attendees the ability to attend virtually, it allowed the event to achieve a reduction of 18,206 kg CO2e. That is an amount equivalent to burning 1,794 gallons of diesel fuel! ROSCon 2019
Greening an event involves a concerted effort from the host organization, vendors and supply chains. ROSCon 2019 linked closely with five of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #2, #3, #7, #11, and #12. The conference planning included choosing the Parisian Macau as the host venue and is certified as LEED Silver, the venue was walkable to and from the hotel, using digital signage, and reducing printed materials were all key strategies for a successful event. Oracle OpenWorld 2019

ReFED 2019 Food Waste Summit
The ReFED 2019 Food Waste Summit made many efforts to ensure their event was sustainable which included a zero waste achievement through portion sizes & attrition calculations, ensuring the food was locally sourced, and encouraging attendees to bring their own reusable water bottles to save on waste. By including these sustainable elements the event was also able to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals: #2 Zero Hunger, #3 Good Health & Well Being, #12 Responsible Consumption & Production, and #13 Climate Action. PNCWA 2019
By hosting the PNCWA 2019 conference at the Oregon Convention Center, PNCWA supported one of the most sustainable convention centers in the world. The Oregon Convention center is one of only two convention centers that is LEED Platinum Certified. In addition through the OCCs partnerships with local non profit organizations, over 120,000 pounds of reusable goods and 46,600 meals were donated. Read Case Study

BSR 2019 Conference
The BSR 2019 conference kicked off with a Zero Waste reception to set the sustainability benchmark. Features included all digital signage, mocktails prepared with all house- made ingredients, and trimmings from hors d’oeuvres ingredients used for smoothies and vegetable stock. Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly 2019
Activities at the 2019 UUA General Assembly closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): #2 Zero Hunger, #7 Affordable & Clean Energy, #10 Reduced Inequalities, #11 Sustainable Cities & Communities, #13 Climate Action, and #17 Partnerships for the Goals. This year’s event was successful due to the partnerships with Spokane Convention Center, Visitors Bureau, and the hotels that implemented sustainable programs for the event that are now permanent and ongoing parts of their operations.

IMEX America 2018
IMEX America 2018 saw the show’s highest landfill diversion / recovery rate to date. This is the result of ongoing refinements in sustainable sourcing, supply chain, attendee education, supplier collaboration, donation programs, and a robust back of house material sort at the Sands Expo. Fair Trade Campaigns focused their sustainability efforts by including Fair Trade products, using reusable service ware, and meals included sustainable food options: local, seasonal, organic, fairly-traded, sustainably harvested, or ethically produced.

Crave the Coast 2018

BSR designed all fulfillment packages to leverage recyclable signs and feature area build outs using rented furniture.
