Karen Waggoner, Event Specialist
Karen is passionate about events, getting her start over 20 years ago as Executive Director of the Maui Writers Conference. An active participant in Meeting Professionals International (MPI) she has been named Planner of the Year twice and was the first recipient of the Oregon Chapter Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
Karen has managed events for:
- Associations
- Tech Corporations
- An extensive trade show management background
She lives on the Columbia River with Tibby and Bootsy, her two senior cats, and is on the BOD of the Bridgeton Neighborhood Association, a Red Cross volunteer, assists with a jigsaw puzzle exchange, and remains an active MPI member. She loves to travel leaving her two sons, both OSU alums, in charge.
