Garrett Wong, Sustainability & Events
Prior to his time at MeetGreen, Garrett was the Member Services Manager at the Green Sports Alliance where he worked alongside sports teams, universities, and leagues globally in creating and bolstering their sustainability initiatives, goals, and programs.
Garrett co-chairs the Emerging Professionals Board for Blanchet House, a downtown Portland social services organization providing food, clothing, and transitional housing programs to people in need, by supporting the organization’s mission amongst the community’s younger demographic. He also joined the Oregon Zoo’s Community Advocacy Council focused on working towards a more equitable zoo for all by bridging the local communities and the Zoo through representation and inclusion.
Between training for his next marathon and improving upon his amateur photography skills, Garrett Wong continues to prioritize sustainable growth across organizations, events, and communities.
